Information
Common Name: Giant African Bull Frog/Pixie Frog
Scientific Name: Pyxicephalus adspersus
Distribution: Angola, Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and possibly the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Max Adult Size: Males can reach up to 9" and average 3 lb while females are half the size of males.
Lifespan: 20 years is not unexpected how they have been known to exceed 30+ years.
Diet: Insects, worms, fish, rodents(rarely) and really anything that can fit into their mouth
